I take it he will still need the full extensive course of antibiotics though? To make sure those pesky bugs are gone for ever.

Keep it up Yogi, you'll soon be heading home clap clap

Took the boys wee up to be tested, just had a call to say although colour much better there is still signs of infection so he needs to have another 20 days supply of Baytril 300mg per day and I have to take another sample up in two weeks

I have been asked to get him to drink more as this could help speed recovery, if anyone has any ideas how I can get him to drink more it would love to hear think

That's what I did with Rosie, boiled up some chicken carcasses and left it to cool. She thought it was scrummy, and it really helped.

I also give mine tea to drink on a hot day. Or 50/50 milk and water (though milk doesn't agree with all dogs, it hasn't given mine any problems)

Ice cubes to play with? Maybe freeze some of the chicken broth.

Or just soak his kibble.

If you can feed him all raw for a while, that is 25% water.

With my cats who need plenty of water, I add it to their sachet / tin of wet food. It's surprising how much you can add in.

His kibble is soaked, and he has raw about three times a week more if I have it, will try the other suggestions as well thanks

What about making a sloppy soup with a half or a full tin of tuna?

The smell is strong so that should tickle his tatebuds big smile
