| Well..........what can i say...... Lenny has been with me now for about 6 weeks. Lenny has shown protective tendancies in the past hence coming into rescue. Underneath this protective nature, Lenny is a big soppy boy and has gained the nickname "Biggy Boy Smasher" Lenny is house trained and has basic training. He will require a home where his training can be continued. He will need a firm but fair owner who will be willing to train him, but equally an owner who is prepared to give him all the love and cuddles he deserves. Lenny is a very strong dog and i am currently working on his lead training. He is a very smart dog and this wont take long to crack. When Lenny comes across other dogs on walks he will try to pull and indicate that he wants to get to the other dog. Lenny is currently being socialised with my own 2 dogs. One is dominant and the other is totally laid back, and Lenny respects both of their positions in my house. Lenny has been introduced also to 2 other big male dogs...both have immediatley dominated Lenny and Lenny has just wanted to play with them. Careful introductions will be required and until his training is complete you will have to be very aware of what is coming in the distance whilst Lenny is off lead. Lenny is very calm in the house and will be found 9 times out of 10 laying on the floor by your feet. Likes: cuddles and attention walks treats being blow dried being hoovered with the hoover nozzle pleasing people running water, watches the bath when its running other dogs (is not dominant) toy bone in the garden sleeping on my bed (im naughty i know!) Dislikes Nails being cut getting into a car (however once in settles) getting in the bath (brilliant once in there) feeling unsure of his surroundings Lenny has had 2 homes so far and including my home...3 :( He is 2 years old. Both of his homes before coming with me he has lived in families with 4+ children. he has never hurt any of the children however has been protective against visiting children that he is unsure of. For this reason Lenny will not be suitable for homes with young children, and should only be considered by families without children or with sensible teenagers that are confident in handling dog behaviours. I have lots of pictures to get on to photo bucket to upload but here is a few to start with. I personally feel his photos do not do him the justice he deserves...he really is a cracking young man, that i have grown to love lots xxxx | |

| Poor Lenny got attacked by my staffie yesterday and he could have done so much more to protect himself. He has a little gash in his leg and really felt sorry for himself after, as did i. They are ok now and in obvious need of closer supervision. He really is such a soppy foster mummies boy. Love you biggy boy xx | |

| This boy is amazing. he has been known in the past to tell children off so last week was a bit of a tester. I supervised him with them for the whole 24 hour period and he was an absolute gentleman. I think during his stay with me, i have drumed in to him that he is NOT the boss here and i call the shots. Maybe it has relaxed him a bit, but he was great with the girls when they was over. I am gonna miss this boy so much, it almost breaks my heart as he is such a loveable boy and has really taken to me. I know he will adapt to someone else in time, he just gets unsure, probably as he is looking for stability and so far he only knows moving about, i sincerely hope he finds a forever home, this boy is AMAZING Anyone that takes him on, will not regret it. However Biggy Boy does need an owner that has the energy and patience to give him to reach his potential. Biggy Boy Auntie Hayley xxxx | |

| Thank you Sharon. Lenny is coming up to the rescue on Sunday. Im pleased for him to get the ball rolling but ive got a big lump in my throat now........i wish i could tell him he hasnt done anything wrong and that it is for his own long term benefit. It doesnt help that im sitting here watching Animal Cops Houston........i cant help but watch it even though it makes me so sad. At least I can look at Lenny and he is healthy and loved and didnt have to go through any of that. He is an absolute cracker and really gives human cuddles. Beautiful boy xXx
P.S will you get to meet him? x | |
