Georgie boy - Rotti (AKA Flyboy)

George is a wonderful boy he pulls sometimes but if you show him who is boss he will do as he is told. He is very obedient. If I take him for a walk he will walk beside me but with Hubby Clive he will walk next to him as if he is stuck to his leg looking up at him for the next command.
Clive and I took Banna and George out on the North downs for a long stroll a few week ends ago. A lovely sunny Saturday. We passed a couple with their Spaniel. George pulled at if he wanted to go and say Hello to him, he didn't growl,no hackles up and tail not fully up. It was only then he was very strong but I managed to hold on to him and kept him sat until they went pass. We started to climb up a steep hill in which George seemed to help me up. We sat at the top to look down the Valley and George came and sat between my legs, put both of his front paws on my leg and push himself back into me and wanting a belly rub and stayed there for a while.
He is so affectionate and is need of a home. He has been in the rescue far too long.
I hope that this wonderful boy has a home soon.

Haha, a fly catcher too, brilliant!

His poor back end looked so sore in the first photos.

Georgies back was very nasty when he came in but he did take it in his stride and has blossomed into a fab dog, Clive is the one in the photo with George, who is very playful, We thought on that day we would get goerge on a long lead and show what a lovely happy soul he really is. He is also such a cuddly dog, you sit on the floor and he will come and sit as close as he can to you and nuzzel in. He is a fab dog and is in desperate need of a forever loving home.

Well we have already had quite the adventure. Just outside Peterborough my car overheated, we gave it twenty mins and tried again, but it went again a mile later. So George has had three hours in a lay by waiting for the RAC, then a ride on the back of a lorry. We get get a rendition of his fly catching skills. He was good as gold, did everything we asked and was very calm about it all.

We got back in the end, at 7.40. A walk around the neighbourhood, some dinner and he is now layer out on the lounge floor. So far he has been a very good boy. Running first thing tomorrow so we will see the full extent of his energy!

I will continue to update and post pictures.

What an eventful start to his new life so pleased he was a good boy though

I have been popping on every now & again to see if you had been on, sounds like a very eventful day for all of you!

So pleased he is being good & he is quite funny to watch when there are flies about
