Dogs in Cars on Hot Days: Your dog is vulnerable and AT RISK if left in a vehicle in high temperatures and even on
days considered as slightly warm. Please take care of your dog. If your dog is found to be at risk, forcible entry to your
vehicle may be necessary without liability for any damage caused. ~ The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry
without question and cannot be held liable for any loss/damage/injury to persons or dogs, cars or other property, whilst

I know they finished REALLY late last year, so maybe it has been split over the 2 days...........we can always phone and find out.

yeah we can ring and find out shall we do two stalls together?
a merchandise stall with magnets, trests etc.....
a raffle stall with prizes for dogs and humans? bottles of wine, teddies,dog toys??? etc..... as there will be four of us there just thought we could make the most of it??

Having done a raffle today, I see two problems, one is when to call it, and second, people go home and you have to get prizes to them. Based on that, I would prefer to do a tombola with instant win.

i am trying to get a bit of board to show keyrings on to make them abit more visable.

i will print off more flyers this week to and laminate the posters that we have .

A busy 2 long days. But we had fun, and met lots of nice people and their dogs.

Saturday was overcast and not busy at all. We raised £19.60 with liver cake sales and tombola.

Today was brighter and much busier, and we raised £118.80

Total for the weekend £138.40

Thanks to Jo & Rich and Julia & Steve for all the hard work and fun. Rich, your tombola-banter is out of this world! I get the general impression that LBDR is becoming known locally......if for nothing else then for the madness of the volunteers! Oh and thanks to Nick too, we're never hungry when Nick's around.

Hope your back is easier Julia (we think her disc slipped out again.....but it didn't stop her!) crossed

that the bath and pills have helped.

its a wonder none of us have been committed but i will say one thing for my husbands "banter" people do feel more sorry for the dogs who have to listen to him when we walk them so they donate a few extra pennies..... zip

we have a great time but for next one must remember sun cream! i was very burnt oops
