Mote Park Walk - Sunday 13th March 2011, 10 a.m.

Come and join our monthly LBDR fun walk.

We meet at the School Lane entrance car park.

Suggested donation: £2 per dog. The walk is about a mile and takes approximately one hour.

Bumping to get the walks in the correct order!

Bumping this for 13th March

I would be very grateful if someone could volunteer to walk towards the back of the group and keep a lookout for any dogs straying from the group. Also, as Archie gets very excited about seeing his friends, if someone could hang on to him while I collect donations and hand out bandanas, that would be great.

hi,we wont be coming as we are having our first night out together on saturday since last may.we are planning on going to a party and then whatever after so we will be in bed suffering , i expect!!!!

Sorry Paula I can't make this one because of the puppies, but some of the rescue dogs are being collected to come along

We welcomed some newcomers again today and about 20 dogs joined in the walk on this rather grey and damp morning - roll on Spring.

We raised £42 today. Thank you so much to everyone who joined in the walk and donated towards the LBDR vet's bills.

I have heard from one of our group that their dogs might have suffered an allergic reaction to something on the walk. Archie is fine. Has anyone else's dog been itchy / stressed at all?

So nice to see the photos of the walk I really wish I could have been there but am on puppy watch at the moment, looks like everyone enjoyed themselves, thank you Paula for running a great walk and to everyone that turned up and helped the vet fund, LBDR has had a couple of expensive months at the vet so this really does help, it is also nice to see dogs having fun together


I hope the dog that might have had an allergic reaction to something is feeling better very soon

Great pics, Hope you recovered from your bump Paula. Doris came home all scratchy and irritated, though a shower with the muddy boys and an afternoon snoozing took her mind off it and seems fine again now.
Not sure what it was, especially as she was by my side so no dodgy stuff!
