Damn it woman, why did you have to put him on the open site "Our Dogs" managed to keep the women folk in ignorance of him... Now its "oh have you seen the cute little puppy...", fortunately there's no link attached at present to more details...

Looks like he'll turn into a well socialised boy the way Sonia and her crew are treating him... doubt he'll be a long term resident.

Awww, I love watching Marnee and Mish, (my ex-puppy farm girls), with puppies, poor Libby and Lacey, used to get washed by one, then the other - lol I did rear a JRT puppy, (just on therr weeks old), so it wasn't too bad. The pair of them used to have the puppy in between their faces when they slept, and i never had to wipe his bum - lol

I could watch that all day long

So big yet so gentle - bless both their hearts

i kn ow it xmas but an update is needed, im getting puppy prangs lol, i bet he was fab over xmas all that paper and bows, lol well when you get 5 min plz another pic so i/we can see how he is growing.

Tubbs

Tubbs came into rescue under a cloud so to speak ,we knew nothing about him, the rescuers guessed he was approx. 3-4wks old and was bullmastiff x DDB but the bigger he has got the more I doubt there is any DDB in him but in fact a bull Terrier of some kind.SO he will not be a big dog !!
He plays with my dogs 2 Dogue de Bordeaux’s and a French bulldog, he is learning his boundaries with them ,but this will need to continue when he is in his forever home as he has a dominant personality ,and needs to socialised with all animals and people ..
He is being toilet trained and on a good day he is perfect but then he has days where he seems to forget so like all Puppies this is something that will need more work..
He loves his food and is on Harrington’s puppy kibble with either raw meat, Nature diet, forthglade .. He is being fed 4 times a day..
I have been crate training him and he spends all night in his crate with no problems he will cry when he wants to come out to go to the loo.., he does like his comforts , a nice fleece blanket or sleeping on a duvet with me ((oopps)) he has taken over my French bulldogs soft bed ..he he he .. he is at the stage where anything in his reach is fair game to pinch and chew., he does understand the word NO and is grasping LEAVE, he has a soft toy that he plays with and so far hasn’t tried to rip it up but if a unknowing cardboard box comes past he will happily rip it up, or if him indoors leaves his slippers away Tubbs will steal them and HIDE them under the cushion in his bed…
He Can be a very loving puppy when he wants to then other times he has the devil in him and will nip and jump and do sneak attacks usually on my youngest two children, there is no malice in his play, it’s just typical puppy play .
He will need someone that has experience with bull mastiffs and bull terriers, and a fairly active family..

that rules us out lol... rocky is about as active as a wet blanket... he moves faster when he is dreamin, but since havin a vocal dog here recently he has found his bark, lol but tubbs is one handsome boy and wont take long to re-home..

recently he has been rushing around like a blue arsed fly for 30-40 mins playing chase the food bowl and sliding across the laminate and using furniture to stop ...


I just fed him human quality beef mince with his kibble and sliced carrot ...he picked out the carrot and then ate the mince then the biscuit,THEN went back to eat the carrots...

cant believe how fast he is growing, eating not a problem then lol.. if i give rocky carrots he wont eat it, he likes cauli and broccoli but carrots are defo a no go.. think it might be coz he has to chew them, i bet he is into everything now, good luck lol

He will eat virtually anything i offer or he can pinch..

Tubbs now thinks his a big boy as he goes into the garden for his wee's..he loves going outside and will even go out alone in the dark ..which is more then Tiberius would do at this age

His new thing is if Baldie AKA Paul walks out the room.. Tubbs grabs his jeans and hangs on

He doesnt like weeing or pooing in his crate at all ..so holds him self if Im out or im asleep ... then rushes out goes to the mat and wees.. or asks to go in the garden.

he is a very smart little dog ... OOH and NOW can jump up on the sofa

Ps... ive read that RAW broccolli isnt too good for dogs , as it Can cause bloat..... mine get it cooked , with peas, sweetcorn, brussels .... ((brussels maybe not such a good idea... loads of toxic gas for a day or so))

no i cook all rockys veg, he defo wouldnt eat it raw.. so i steam it all and add some of the veggie water with it.. and some biscuits for dinner then his trotter and heart for tea, or he will have mince/kidneys/liver/ he does love a pig tail but hard to get them as all the portugese buy them as they eat them. does not sound appealing to me. glad tubbs is getting on well with such a rocky start to life, he has such a cheeky little face .. cant see him bein round for long .. but will you be able to let him go ?? ..

yes I will.... I will miss him the little monkey....
