Mote Park Maidstone Walk - Sunday 16 January 2011, 10 a.m.

A huge thank you to Ivan of Vets4Pets for organising the Mote Park walks this year and raising lots of money for LBDR.

Ivan is taking a well-earned rest from the walks during January and February and his walks will start again in March.

I don't think Archie can wait three months between these group walks so I would like to propose a walk on Sunday 16 January 2011; same meeting time and place as usual.

Bandanas optional but perhaps we can each throw in a quid or two donation to LBDR?

I have to work that weekend but I should be able to sneak a few hours away to make it

Bumping this up as a reminder to everyone of the Mote Park walk on Sunday 16 Jan, 10 a.m.

Mick won't be able to get away so we won't be there after all

I thought he was being a bit optimistic when he said he might make it, given that he's running the event he's working at

I did contemplate coming with just Uno but Mick's got the Landrover and while I can get her in my car for short journeys and emergencies I can't really bring her that far - a wolfhound in a Ka doesn't really work! Note to self: get bigger car...

I hope the weather holds for those who go - at least it should be a bit milder than the last one!

I would of loved to have been there but the boys are on STRICT lead walking only for 2wks till their stitches come out .... Any photos ...Paulua .....

There were around 20 dogs there today, with a few newcomers, so welcome to them. Not too bad a turnout, considering it was a damp and windy day in January. Enjoyed by all, I think.

Don't forget, the next walk is on 13 February

We raised £27 - Gilly, shall I keep that until I see you or Sharon next time or shall I pay LBDR by Paypal?
