A few photos from this weekend of George walking with my parents dogs and I'm sorry but quite a few of the battery hens we rescued too.

Nice to see photos of the smiler again he is looking well

Can I ask why the carry?? what had he been upto


well done for taking on some battery hens a life for them at last

The reason for the carry was there was someone out walking with their dog but just carrying it, I was seeing if I could. He seemed to quite like it, my arms didn't though.

We got the hens yesterday, and was told they probably won't lay eggs, we got 5 this morning!

Could you imagine the looks if everytime people with large breeds picked up their dogs when they saw a small dog, still it might stop the people with small dogs picking their up as they might realise how silly they are being

The ex batts do lay eggs once in full health they lay well somnetimes only every other day I am told, but with that many choocks what the hell would you do with all the eggs, still eggs are good for the dogs, good luck with them

I am soooooooooooooo glad that Gerogie porgy is happy in his forever home. To think what he was like when he came in. He was a fantastic boy when he was at the rescue and I do miss him and his snuggles. I am soo loving the photo too. Well done Geroge

I thought I would just give a quick update on how well George has done. He is at the point where we can have him off the lead at my parents house, he has learned totally ignore the cats, and tolerate their affection seeking (they try to rub their faces on his). It is a massive step for us and him. We can also take him from the car, through the village to the house if needs be (on occasion when carrying too much) without a lead, his obedience and walking to heel is that good. He is brilliant now when encountering other dogs, even those trying to fight him get dealt with a dose of ignorance. I am so proud of him, he has become a brilliant part of our lives.
