Nikita -Puppy - Neapolitan X Akita

We have a puppy come to join us she is 12 weeks old Dad is a Neopolitan mum an Akita

She has no name at the moment as I did not like the name she came in with we are looking for an italian name for this girl any ideas?

How cute is she, will think on the name, will she be with you over the weekend? If not won't show Orin!!

She is with me at the moment do you want me to hide her from Orin

What about Mia which means mine, or Ciara which means precious little one?

But also he always seems to miss the pups so if she is leaving before Sunday I won't show him as he'll moan!!

glad to hear she's been homed early, just saddened that such a mix of breeds should happen... Hoping Nikita is not a bad omen...as the worst of the Akita mixed with the worst of the Neo is not something I'd like to contemplate. (Whinge over)

We are able to use the vet scales at the puppyclass to monitor her weekly progress and then when the classes finish, we planto walk her to the local surgery every Saturday to do the same.

Wilbur is in love with the big black buffoon and hasregressed slightly in his training- possibly to show off to the new girl anddemonstrate how cool he is! Everyone who has met her has been smitten and wecertainly turn heads walking through town.

Insane to take on the hooligan “Nikita”? Probably, but I forone am glad that Cheryl convinced me that we should give the young bitch achance rather than wait for a teenage boy to come along. She is big, clumsy,cheeky, wilful, and full of mischief. She steals, she snores, she farts- whatmore could you ask for in a dog?!

I have attached a picture of her demonstrating the hard lifeshe is leading (need to get a bigger crate!)

Update on Nikitta now Nellie

Everyone who meets her loves her and she just laps up the attention- it has even crossed my mind about putting her forward as a PAT dog and using her in the school where I work: we'll see how she matures
Our next training classes should start in a couple of weeks and as long as she continues to enjoy them, we will progress her through all the levels. We are really pleased that she is part of our mad house and find it difficult to remember life pre-Nellie

We will continue to keep you updated, the hardest part will be pics as she is somewhat camera shy, but we are working on it!
