| His is a Neo x Great Dane, 3 years old. Good with cats, been around and lived with other dogs. P.J. is excellent with children, non-reactive to other dogs (a little afraid). Absolute gent P.J. is castrated, fully up to date with vaccines He has had half his intestine removed and one third of his stomach removed due to bloat as a puppy and because of this he is fed his meals spread over 4 times a day P.J. is being fostered in Suffolk P.J. came into rescue through no fault of his own but family issues Does the Neo rumble (most Neo's do this) when people enter the house he also does the Neo Rumble when he is happy, Blu does the same a couple of people thought Blu was growling but he isn't they talk, our Bana was the same He is fed Burns as it is good for his stomach he does not do well with cereal based food

| Think we seem to be turning into Giant breed rescue and one point seemed all were a bit small for us now they are getting pretty big | |

| This boy appears to of caught the eye of both Bec, as well as my parents. I get the impression my ear is going to be chewed off as a result. He looks the size of the donkey we had. | |

| You will have to get yourself one of those head protectors they use in the boxing ring when sparing that might protect your ears a bit He is a big boy but what you would expect really from being a Neo X Dane but a gentle soul | |

| Am I right in thinking he would need to have more food than he would usually to maintain his weight, as missing that much of his digestive tract would have an effect similar to a gastric bypass in humans? | |

| No he can be fed the same amount as any dog of his size but needs to have the meals spread, the people that had him could not maintain the 4 x a day feeding this then made him bring up food which meant he lost weight, they also for some reason did not leave water down for him so he would gauge the water when it was available which that would also make him ill, by having water down he is getting used to it now always being available and is not drinking all he can when he sees it, being fed 4 times a day he is keeping that down as well

| Wow he's a nice looking dog, great video clips of him with the other two dogs. For a dog that's gone through that much as a pup, he's come along really well. | |

| PJ is an amazing dog, he's very long, not just tall! He's free fed with me, as yet he hasn't been sick and his poo's are now normal, he's putting weight on nicely. He's fed Burns lamb and brown rice as chicken upsets his stomach (a lot of dogs can't take chicken), also Barking Heads lamb and rice. he also has raw meat 2-3 times a week and a raw whole egg. His recall is 100%. | |
