Stan was born 29/11/08 since then he has had four homes, Stan has been used as a stud dog we understand
When his last home got Stan he would often head butt and also try and crab your feet, they say he does not so this any longer and up to now he has not done it with us, in fact he has been quite a gentleman.
The last home would tell him Aye if he did something wrong and he stopped
He has lived with other dogs without to much issue but does not like other dogs around his food bowl he does like his food and they have been feeding him separately. They say he would eat anything so had to keep a close eye on him.
He can be possessive of his toys around other dogs so this will need to be worked on, which we will start whilst he is with us, they also say he likes to take control of play so this will also be worked on.
When he was a puppy a collar was allowed to grow into his neck so he is not keen on collars but will wear a harness, he does need more lead work to stop him pulling
Stan did chase cats before but now leaves them alone
He can get over a 4ft fence to a higher fence would be needed along with training him to stay away from the fence
Stan loves water and loves going for a swim
Stan is fine with other dogs but in the past has tried to hump male dogs, at the moment Stan is entire but he will be castrated next week.
Stan has a bald patch on his chest at the moment in the past he had a hot spot and this seems to flare up every now and again, we will be trying him on different food and supplements whilst he is with us to see if anything help keep this under control, he had seen a vet on this and was really given the all clear
Stan has met the other dogs at LBDR and has not shown any issues so far even with them being excited at a new arrival and barking at him

He has loved the people that he has met and not been an issue
Stan has lived with children but we still need to confirm the ages before we can say what age child it is possible for him to live with
Stan can be excitable and is a very active dog

There has been a lot of interest in Stan already and people already with applications in that have also been homechecked have shown a great interest, hopefully one will be the right home for Stan
