| Absolutely beautiful, Is it a Corso thing giving a paw all the time, Puddin never stops giving me his paw and he has huge feet. Do you have any idea of age, she seems so sweet x | |

| Love this little girl. She was initially very nervous of me but we soon made friends after a belly rub or two. She pulled quite a bit on the lead and when I tried to correct her she just went into meltdown and froze on the spot, sometimes she laid down and wouldnt get back up, other times she just sat down. Will take her a bit of time to trust us I think and realise no one is gonna hurt her. I gave up working with her after just a few minutes as she really wasnt comfortable with it. We just had some cuddle time - which she enjoyed much more | |

| Dogs Name: Pasha Breed: Cross Breed????? Sex: F Age: 1- 2yrs approx Date: 30/12/2012 SITUATION Dogs reactions Person casually walks past dog while dog is eating (meal or special food) Pasha appears to have no issues around food at all Person tries to pick up bowl while dog is eating (meal or special food) Same as above Person tries to pick up food that has fallen to floor while dog is trying to reach it Pasha will move towards the treat and if you move towards it she will run away from it Person tries to touch or take away high value food that dog is eating or holding Pasha cowers when you take the treat and will show a lot of appears behaviours Person tries to touch or take away a toy that dog is playing with Pasha wants to play but is unsure how to and if the play initiation is too full on she will cower and run away Person reaches hand towards dog Initial Pasha will cower but once she knows you mean her no harm she is fine Person reaches over dog’s head Same as above Person tries to put on leash and/or collar Again Pasha will cower initially but then be fine and sometimes and become very excitable and jump up Person grabs at dog’s collar or neck Once Pasha knows you she will easily allow you to do this Person pulls on dog’s collar or neck Pasha will show slight appearing behaviours and sit on the floor Person hugs dog around neck When I go to hug Pasha around the neck she lays straight on the floor showing appeasing behaviours Person pushes down on dog’s back Pasha freezes, then goes into a sit and shows appeasing behaviours Person pushes down on dog’s rump Same as above Person tries to get dog to lie down by voice command Pasha knows this command and will go into the straight away Person tries to get dog to lie down by physical pushing Pasha will easily go into the down but shows a lot of appeasing behaviours and will roll onto her back. But doesn’t show any aggressive behaviours Person tries to get dog to roll over on its back by physical manipulation If Pasha is laying down the moment you go to touch her she will roll onto her back in an appeasing way Person tries to groom dog’s head , torso, or legs (ie other than feet) Pasha is very accepting of grooming providing the movements are not too fast or hard. Person touches dog’s feet Pasha will allow you to touch her paws, but will lay down as you go to do this Person clips or tries to clip dog’s toenails Not tested Person tries to bathe dog, including towelling off after bath Not tested Person tries to open dog’s mouth Pasha will allow you to open her mouth, but will lay down as you go to do this Person stares into dog’s eyes Pasha is very reluctant to make or hold eye contact Person shouts loudly near dog Pasha will stop immediately and go into a down showing appeasing behaviours Person threatens dog with object such as newspaper or with hand Pasha will hit the ground and show appeasing behaviours or try and get away if she can Person drops an object near dog Pasha shows a startle response then investigates the object Stranger knocks on door or rings bell at dog's home Pasha looks at the door but doesn’t show any unwanted behaviours Stranger enters house Pasha will cower around new people and if they approach her she will try to back away and may growl Stranger in house tries to pet dog Once Pasha is comfortable with that person and knows they are no threat she will seek affection Stranger approaches dog in car Pasha again will cower if new people approach her but doesn’t show any aggression. Pasha is extremely bad in the car, she will try to escape and throws herself at the windows and scratches trying to dig her way out. Stranger approaches dog on street Same as above Another person touches or hugs person with dog Pasha shows no problems towards that person Stranger shouts loudly in dog’s presence Pasha will stop any behaviour immediate and lay down Dog walks past familiar non reactive dog Pasha appears to like most dogs and will try to get over and say hello Dog walks past unfamiliar non reactive dog Same as above Dog walks past familiar reactive dog Pasha will ignore these dogs she doesn’t try to rush away Dog walks past unfamiliar reactive dog Same as above Pasha is very nervous and scared. She is always trying to appease and needs a lot of reassurance whether that’s from a person or other dog. Pasha needs to have company or she will try to escape and has no issues about throwing herself at windows. Pasha has a lot of scars on her head and these do not appear to be from a dog fight but maybe caused by trying to get out of something. Pasha is very playful and loves nothing move then interacting with people. It has been reported that Pasha is ok around cats. Pasha needs a very steady and confident owner that can help her with her confidence issues but can correct any unwanted behaviour without undoing the confidence building. All these behaviours were shown at the time of this assessment conducted by Shaun Aldridge (Ruff Diamond Dog Training); however these behaviours may change in different circumstances.

| A beautifull young girl in need of a very special home, she did really well on her lead considering she had only just met us (I was trying to keep out of the photo) and with time and patience has the potential to blossom into an amazing companion. | |

| Spent ages yesterday just cuddling up with Pasha on the field. She likes to walk but she'll nudge you for a fuss and its hard to say no to that little face so we just sat together for a bit. I dread to think whats happened to this girlie in her past but she will cower away from any sudden movements and if she hasn't noticed you reaching out your hand to touch her she will cower away. She wants to be friends and is so happy & loving - we just have to build her confidence up a bit. You're safe now Pasha. No one is ever gonna hurt you again sweetie xx | |
