PostSubject: Re: Poppy - Homed   Poppy - Homed EmptySat Jun 22, 2013 3:14 pm

Poppy has been used for breeding in the past but those days are behind her she will be spayed very soon,
Poppy is 4 years old

Information on Poppy from the person that got her out of the situation she was in.

I rescued my poppy from a wom...en who was keeping outside in a dirty shed and just breeding, when l took her in she had had 4 litters of pups at 3 years old (bless her)
Despite her never being allowed in the house has always been very clean in the house, when l took her in she was so thin and smelly and her boobs were nearly on the bloody floor(bless her) she just looked so sad.
Bad points.
Poppy can open any door, cupboard and draws so lve crate trained and she now very happy in her crate and will take herself bed in it ( if she’s not on the sofa with me)
She will steal any food left on the side if she can, she will also high jump over a safety-gate ( very funny to watch her ) but naughty.
Things lm working on with her.
She loves to go out for walkies but can sometime pull on the lead but is getting better, her recall is ok but sometime won’t come back til she has said hello to everyone...lve started taking bacon out with me and this seem to be working,
Her good points.
My poppy loves everything and everybody, she is good with all dogs and does adore kids.....all she wants is to lay on the sofa and be loved....she hasn’t got a bad bone in her body, she has only just learnt how to play and she is loving life for the first time ever, this is why this is so hard for me to part with her but my bulldog just is not getting on with her, l think the more confident she is getting the more mardy he is getting and it’s just not fare on them both....bulldogs are a very funny stubborn Breed
She will give you her paw and will sit n even lay down for youSee more
