Put the date in your diaries

We'll start adding a breakdown of seperate headings for the 2012 Fun Day in the next couple of weeks but we'd like to hear all your ideas so put your thinking caps on!

Some people have suggested maybe a theme for this years Fun Day?
Possibly Olympics or something British for the jubilee - What does everyone think? Good idea? Or will we all be sick of the Olympics this year and appreciate a day out with no mention of the olympics or the jubilee??

If anyone would like to be part of the Fun Day either by holding a stall or maybe doing a presentation / display then let us know. Stall holders don't have to raise funds for LBDR. If you're a small business and would like a pitch on the day then thats fine, we just ask for a donation be made to us for your pitch hire.
Don't forget to ask your friends & family if they'd like a stall too ....

We'll need a list of volunteers who are available on the day to help with all sorts of different things; Collecting car park money / refreshments / help with the dog shows & taking class money / raffle / tombola / BBQ. The list is endless so if you'd like to help out please let us know.

We'll also need a list of volunteers who are able to help out on the Saturday, the 1st Sept.
Help needed getting the raffle prizes sorted / sticking numbers on tombola prizes / help putting the gazeboo's up etc. Again, please let us know if you can help.

Does anyone have any Gazeboo's we could kindly borrow for the day?
Those of you that were there last year will remember how the heavens opened and it would be great if we could provide more cover this year - just in case!

Also, we need to start begging for prizes! Anything goes - doesn't have to be dog related!
If you work for a company who may be able to donate something or if you have any contacts that you can ask. If you're good at writting letters to companies and asking for their support or even if you have any unwanted gifts laying around your house - we need them!

All ideas welcome ......

I spoke to a family friend and they said they should be able to come and do an agility display. She said they will only be levels 3-5 (i have no idea what that means!!!!) but one of the dogs is a mastiff cross :-) Do we have agility stuff?
