Hello everyone, Sharon said I should introduce myself I am very shy and not very confident at all but Sharon said it was bad manners for me not to say Hello, anyway my name is Kaleigh and I am about 10 months old, I was found wandering the streets and was taken to Battersea Dogs home, there have been many rescues helping me to get to you at LBDR, they all said it was the best place for me to be to get my confidence so I would like to say thank you, well I think thank you as I do not know yet as I have only just arrived and don't know anyone I hope this is going to be a nice place to be and where I can learn to be a puppy without a care in the world, So thanks also to Ironmountain and CCUKMR for getting me here, I am told that all the rescues are going to try and find me a nice home to live forever, but I don't want to move on just yet

I have been what they call dog and cat tested and the said I did really well, so I can live with friendly dogs ones that will take care of me but not bully me to much as I would really not like that and I can live with a cat as when they told me to leave and come away I did, I don't think it would be a good idea for me to live with small children but perhaps when I have more confidence I might like to live with older ones as they might play with me

Kaliegh today, she is a little shy at the moment, but seemed to come round for a few biscits after awhile, even had her sitting with me. Sharon has taken her out for a road walk today and it seems she is a little more confident out on the roads perhaps this is what she is used to. As you can see she is looking a little more confident.

Awww, Kaleigh is so pretty but she looks so sad! I hope she will settle in soon and start to gain some confidence!

I met Kayleigh about a month ago in Battersea Park when she was being walked.
Well done to everyone who has been taking care of her since! She is looking much healthier! She was extremely skinny before.
She's a lovely sweet girl and very respectful of my older, totally non moving bullie and played nicely with my pug.

Yes Lyn but only for the first couple of minutes does not take long before she is all over you like a rash, she will be great with someone that is willing to put in the time to carefully introduce her to new things and new people, she is very much a puppy and loves exploring but in her own time, normally when dogs come in like her they are not happy about going ou for a walk but Kayleigh loves it, she is not bothered by traffic at all

That's good that she enjoys walking and non bothered a traffic... small steps.

the real issue I have at the moment is the crate am now getting her eating and sleeping in one but not got the door shut yet as soon as I can do that and she is happy I will bring her into my dogs but want to integrate her with them slowly and would not leave her out of a crate with them when I am seeing to the other dogs, think my dogs will help her a lot, mind you Cassie is doing a good job with her at the moment
