Good Lord, that 'description' is really not terribly helpful!

Could they not even give the size, or a guess at what breeds it might be made of?

Isn't it about time that they collected photographic evidence?

Must admit it doesn't do a lot for my confidence if mine were missing

That's what I was thinking!

These are mainly for dog wardens and rescue centres they do sort out better decriptions but they get this out asap just in case one goes into a pound as they only have the 7 days, most pounds will check to see if the microchip is up as a missing dog, but if you read this and saw a black & white cross breed on it's own if you caught it it is hoped people would take to a vet or call the dog warden or someone you know that micro chips and advise that you had seen a missing dog alert

The same as when Lizzie was found she was brought to me to scan, I then looked on the missing dog sites as she did not have a chip had she had a chip I would have phoned the micro chip centre and they would have put me in touch with her owners
